 SMART Board TrainingSMART Board interactive whiteboards bring a whole new level of interaction to a classroom or boardroom. They have the power to transform your presentation into a dynamic, interactive environment. The SMART Board is a large, touch-controlled screen that works with a projector and a computer. Users can write on the interactive whiteboard in digital ink or use a finger to control computer applications by pointing, clicking and dragging, just as with a desktop mouse. SMART Boards are used by teachers and executives, and in more diverse applications all the time. Current SSC SMART Board Courses: All of the following classes run three hours in length. SMART Board Beginners Participants receive an orientation on the interactive whiteboard, how it interacts with Microsoft Office software, and an introduction to SMARTs Notebook software. SMART Board Intermediate This intermediate level course guides participants through topics including practical daily use of the SMART Board, best practices and advanced tools of SMARTs Notebook software, and building interactive media-rich lesson activities.
